August 8 - August 19, 2012 - Erie County Fair WNYHPA Booth

As many of you are aware, the WNYHPA is going to have an informational booth at the Erie County Fair this year. The Erie County Fair is very excited and has agreed to supply us with admission passes and parking passes for anyone who volunteers to man the booth. The dates of the Fair are Wednesday, August 8, 2012, through Sunday, August 19, 2012. We have agreed to keep the booth open from 11:00 A.M. through 8:00 P.M. each day. Manning the booth simply means you are there to make sure enough informational materials are available for anyone interested, and to answer questions. If you do not have an answer for a particular question, there will be a clip board available to write down questions, the asker's name, and a contact email or phone number of that person. Somebody will then reply to the unanswered questions. For convenience sake, we have broken the booth hours down to three-hour shifts as follows:

11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.    2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.    5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

If a person can cover more than one shift in any given day, or a shift or shifts on multiple days, that would be great. We figure if we have more than one person who volunteers to cover the same shift, we can either ask people if they are available to take a different shift or we will keep multiple people on the shift because this booth will probably be a busy place.

If you can volunteer to man the booth, please notify Mike Baglio as to the day/days and shift/shifts you are available. You can email him at mandjbaglio@yahoo.com or call him at 716-997-6712. In advance, thank you so much for your support.
