Upcoming MeetingsGeneral meeting - Saturday, January 30th, 9:00am to 12 noon First Presbyterian Church, 9 Paine (off Main Rte. 20A), East Aurora Trevor and Elizabeth Thompson will present a fun workshop on mead making and creams and salves. There will be a $5 charge at the door to cover costs. Refreshments will be served Door prizes, free literature, catalogs. Bring bee equipment for sale. Don't forget to pay your annual $10 dues. Board meeting - Monday, February 8th, 7pm Fish & Gun Club, East Aurora Meeting - Saturday, February 20th, 9:00am to 12 noon First Presbyterian Church, 9 Paine (off Main Rte. 20A), East Aurora Questions/Discussion among members guided by part of an Ohio State University video. Meeting - Tuesday, March 16th, 7pm First Presbyterian Church, 9 Paine (off Main Rte. 20A), East Aurora Dr. Mehmed Imamovic will share some of his insights into nutrition. He is a vet in Amherst, NY. His initial training was in what was formerly Yugoslavia, where honey bees and nutrition are an important part of veterinary training. Also, part two of Questions/Discussion among members guided by an Ohio State University video. Mentor new and 'early' beekeepers Not a class, but a chance to help a beekeeper do what's necessary. Tentatively scheduled for two or three Saturdays in May. Participants must have their own bee gear.
