VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR ERIE COUNTY FAIR INFORMATIONAL BOOTH
The WNYHPA is once again this year (2013) having an informational booth at
the Erie County Fair from Wednesday, August 7 – Sunday, August 18.
Volunteers will be needed to answer questions about bees and beekeeping. We
will have an observation hive at the booth, which draws a lot of attention and
raises much interest. The shifts are divided into three hour blocks (11:00 A.M.
– 2:00 P.M., 2:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M., and 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.), and we would
like to have at least two (2) people for each shift. If you are interested
in volunteering, and can man the booth for one or more shifts, please send Mike
Baglio an email at mandjbaglio@yahoo.com or call 716-997-6712.
